I have 2 peices of root ginger that are sprouting from a white bulbous part of the original peices purchased for cooking. Is there any chance that these can become house plants and if so how do I achieve this ?

I just pot it up and keep it as a foliage plant. bog standard copost nothing special.

It has complete instructions. I have found that at this time of year, it dies back, which is when you harvest some and replant some. The flowers are a disappointment.
