I purchased this shrub last spring and unfortunately I have mislaid it's label and I cannot remember it's name, nor do I know whether or not I can keep it pruned to a shape. I would also like to know how tall it is likely to grow. Can anyone enlighten me, please?...

Hi Dawnsaunt, I don't know really, but you have given me a name so I can ask at a G.C. Thank you lots. Breda...

I agree with Dawn in that it is Golden Elder. Nice colour.

Will grow quite quick to around 3m x 2m but won't mind a hard pruning but quickly grows back. Lovely foilage with flowers and berries in autumn.

Hi Bredakelly, could it be Sambucus nigra 'Aurea' - Golden Elder?
