My leaf mould is covered with a white feathery fungus and has not decomposed into its usual crumbly compost. Do you know what this might be and if it will be harmful to plants if spread around them

This happens sometimes if the leaves were not wet enough initially - I take it you punch holes in the bottom of the bag, if that's how you do it?
