I have a Robina (yellow leaves) tree. It is two years old and our soil is clay. Could I move it in November to a sunnier spot in the garden and does it need feeding? It has a few dark patches on the leaves.

Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia', could move it in November after leafdrop' with rootball intact. You could put some bonemeal in a large planting hole with plenty of grit or sharp sand mixed with the heavy soil. Rootgrow would be another possibility to help it to re-establish. Make sure that you water regularly during next spring and summer.
