hello harli i would say it looks like an aubrieta but not sure, you could ask andrewr to take a look he may be able to help sounds like a chap who knows his stuff :-]

Not certain but could be a Saxifrage, an Aubrieta or another Arabis. Need to see the leaves better, Harli, to ID it correctly.
