CLEMATIS ID PLEASE
I accidentally chopped a clematis Ville de Lyons earlier in the year. When it's grown back however, there seem to be two different clematis! They are both in bud with the one I can't identify having a flower fully opened. Could it be this one has been dormant for years and has suddenly decided to grow?

I thought that at first Bamboo, but on closer inspection, the leaves are totally different in size, shape and colour. Also, the unidentified flower head has a 'hanging' habit, rather than just a flat open flower.

Pic's a bit blurry so I can't see the stamens, but it might be something like Clematis viticella 'Little Nell' I guess...

I'll try and get a clear pic of the stamens Bamboo, but it won't be today - it's absolutely slinging it down!!

Or you could just google the name I said...

Might just be dodgy genetic info in that flower - happens sometimes.
