I'd recommend Dobie's any time. I've never had a problem with them. I think they are on this site under 'Garden shops'.

I have had good plants fron both T&M and parkers. local gc and places like B&Q often do plug plants too. enjoy browsing the catalogues.

Just a word of warning - several of the users of this site (myself included) have had problems with T&M in the past

I agree with Andrew completely. I don't use T&M any longer after several bad experiences.

If you have time to look around, then of course do that, but Dobies have a good range and good prices and I still stand by my recommendation!

Am i just lucky? I have never had a bad lot from T&M. in fact just received some on monday and they are better than i expected. :o)

You sure are, Sbg! Actually, their plug plants weren't as bad as their perennials, which arrived dead or dying or wrong on several occasions. I tried complaining and they sent another lot - even worse! I just gave up after three years of this - I was kept in a queue on the phone for 20 minutes, too.

i am just lucky then ,its about time. their perenials have always been good quailty too. I got some echinacea tiki torch and they were even in early bud. some times i think its the couriers that let them down, but 20 mins on the phone is taking the biscuit a bit spritz.

I tried phoning and e-mailing T&M for a month after one wrong delivery. When I finally got through, the girl on Customer Service said, "We've been busy." I'll leave you to guess my response
