Divots in my lawn
By Cousinpat

Over the last few days a number of divots have appeared in the lawn in my front and back garden.
The divots are 2-3 inches deep and wide and look like a pitch mark from a golf course.
Does anyone know what animal might be causing this?

squirrels sometimes pull thatch as do rabbits when digging but these seem too deep for that. Badgers would be fantastic in one respect but not so if they ruin your garden.

It might be badgers - they go for grubs and worms. We get this, too.
