can anyone give me the name of this plant ... they have fragrant leaves.. i bought it and threw away the label but would rather like to purchase it again next year as it has flowered well... thanks

They look like 'naughty marietta' variety. They are looking good - will die off when the first frost happens, so collect the seeds and dry them off and germinate in spring.

Hey Kildermorie, Naughty Marietta sounds like someone I once knew, haha. On a seriouse note Rose, I think that picture is Tagetes tenuifolia - Lemon Gem.

They're Tagetes (French Marigolds) but there are so many varieties for sale these days that I'm afraid I don't know the specific name. You could try growing them from seed if you collected some when they go over - they might not 'come true', but it's worth a go.
