Another Picture of Mystery Plant (In recovery!)

Nona

By Nona

The "mystery" Cyclamen in recovery. Thanks to all of you for the identification and for the link to information and tips. All very helpful.

As I live in the hot, dry desert of Arizona this little lady will have to remain an indoor companion. As you can see I have moved her onto a pebble filled tray in front of North facing windows with closable blinds for the time being. I will gradually cut back on watering and will now water properly having learned how.

Lovely colour. With care, you should get it like that again next year!

Arrrrgh ...... got a poor connection today, and impatient fingers, very sorry.
Incidentally, welcome to GoY, Nona. I hope you enjoy yourself as much here as I do.

What a marvelous specimen, wonderful present! I don't have much success with indoor cyclamen, yet to find a spot they like or to give them the right amount of water at the right time, but I do hope you have better luck ( or judgement).

indoor cyclemen don't like to much sun and don't allow it to dry out, this pepple idea is brilliant, as it will benefit from being watered at the bottom rather than the top! good luck!
