I have grown runner beans this year and i have kept some beans back for growing next year do these have to be dried ?

Bear in mind that runner beans can be crossed with other varieties of runner bean grown nearby, up to half a mile away.

Yes let them dry off completely in the pod then remove from pod put in a paper bag or envelope and store somewhere cool, dry and away from vermin... a metal tin works well then you can put in the potting shed or garage.
