I have a blue sollya growing against a wall in a large tub, which has grown extremely well over the summer. What is the best thing to do for it in the winter? I would hate to lose it to the cold!

Contrary to Bamboo, I will say that they do take a LIGHT frost. All three of mine copped a frosting earlier this year.
For this winter they will all be huddled in my garage next to the air brick from under the house. One of mine got infested by red spider mite last winter and so I put it in the garage. It came through perfectly well, although it bloomed three weeks after the two that remained in the conservatory.
My garage does have a glass door I must point out.
Also, if you go down this route, stand the pot on a dozen or so newspapers - the floor in my garage was far colder than the ambient air temperature, which hit a low of 2 deg c.

Requires a heated greenhouse, or to be brought indoors for winter. Not even frost hardy.
