Hi, someone told me that when my hollyhocks die, I can put the seeds in to the ground this year ready for next year.
Is it true?
If so, should they be planted inside, in greenhouse, straght in to the soil or coldframe?

Thank you Denise.

the plant naturally sheds its seed on to the ground so I think they will be ok to bury now. I tend to find even the ones from November do ok.

Your Hollyhock will die down but they will come back next year, Just cut to almost ground level after the flowers have finished.
I put my seeds straight into the soil as soon as the seeds turn brown but I do find it takes 2-3 years to the first flowers.
I sowed mine weeks ago so I think its too late to plant in the soil now but you could try in seed compost undercover.
