These are what I brought back from France...Would you cut these back for winter...also could I re-pot them into bigger pots,as you can see there's a lot of plant for such little pots or is it not a good time to do that ? Are they chrysanthemums?thankyou

I suspect they're not hardy ones, Kate. You'll need to keep them frost-free over the winter.

I've bought beautiful, showy chrysanthemums just like this here in Italy, Kate, and just this morning was told that they would definitely be hardy, however, in the past we have tried to plant similar ones out and have lost most of them in hard winters.

Ok thanks..do I cut them back?

Yes you can, as the flowers die dead head and when they finish cut them down.

They are chrysanthemums Kate. They will need a bigger pot next spring. Sometimes when re potting you may find you have 3 plants in each pot? GC do this to sell them with lots of flowers.
