Aidanandgloria There is nothing that you can do except learn to love them for the few weeks in the year that they are present.

Hi, I answered a similar question some time ago.

As far as I'm aware there are no fungicides available in the UK that are effective against fungi. However, since they are not damaging to the turf, and are part of a natural and temporary process and even beneficial for your lawn there is no need to treat them. In fact it's a sign of a healthy lawn.

Breaking the stems by brushing the toadstools will cause them to dry out and disappear, they are composed mainly of water.

They are not damaging to the turf and are a temporary problem.

I just ignore them as they soon go and do no harm.

I actually love them! I love they way they appear so suddenly. Some of them are really beautiful too if you look at them closely. Where I used to work one of the lab staff called the cleaners mushrooms, because when you went home there were none to be seen, but when you arrived in the morning, there they were!

How do I say thanks?
