Sorry guys & galls, I had just had a really great birthday with lovely flowers etc, when I asked the question I forgot to say I meant cut flowers in my house. I have noticed when lily`s open they give off perfume at certain times of the day, and other flowers in with them seem to droop hence the question. thanks for comments anyway.

Ah, I remember your original question and you're right, it wasn't clear at all that this is what you meant.
Lilies are often presented in mixed bouquets and don't cause other flowers problems - but it may be that the other flowers are 'going over' while the last of the lily buds are opening, and that might be what you're noticing.
