i have not managed to get my lawn cut since october and it is about 4 inch long now. is it alright to cut it in the winter time someone told me i should not do that. thank you mrs everett

Yes, its fine - but only if the weather is mild, there isn't a northerly wind, there's not frost on the grass, and it isn't waterlogged.

grass bye nature is generaly very tolerent and robust .

I am still cutting mine every week as it is still growing. But I do mow it on a higher cut and not when it is very wet.

I cut mine a few days ago. No problem with cutting it now.

I found I had to leave the grass box off though as when the grass is wet it tends to clog the outlet.
