Pampas grass grows wild in the region around Santander. There is a largish marshy area which they seem to love and, in autumn, the swaying fronds are magnificent. It always amazes me that we all pamper our plants with their culinary preferences, but no-one ever feeds the wild ones which continue to grow, blossom, seed etc without our help. It's rather annoying!

Have you fed it? Give it some blood, fish and bone around the root area. Don't get rid of it, poor plant! Patience, patience! Talk to it nicely... ;-)
