This looks a bit like one I have which I have just posted some pictures of - Tulipa Kaufmanniana. Take a look at mine! Don't know what you think.

These are about 18" tall so does that match with yours? It is quite pinky/peachy in bud.
Ive posted another picture of the small red ones and wondered if these were a kauffman group.
