My 3 apple trees do not do very well. I would like to transplant them so they receive more sun. When would be the best time to move them and what is their chance of survival?

You are coming up to your autumn, after the leaves have fallen, dig round your trees, lift onto a sheet and take them to the new place you are planting in. Dress the ground with bonemeal and water in.
