Have been looking through a variety of Azelea's as I have one which is still in flower, although the leaves on mine are varigated. Cannot find one on the site although looking at the flower it could be an azelea simlli? Does anyone know what this azalea is?

Thank you for getting back to me.

Don't think this it is A. simili and am not going to attempt and ID but lots of plants and shrubs are flowering out of season as it is so mild.

Can't find an azalea simlli - there is azalea simsii - but that one's really a houseplant anyway, won't survive outside over winter if its cold.

And A. simsii has red flowers

Erm, Andrew, A. simsii comes in bi colours, pinks, reds, and purples. I currently have one bi colour pink/white in my sitting room...

I stand corrected. I was looking at the picture in my rhodo book

I wish they'd grow outside here, I like the colours and the larger flowers -but they don't, sadly. Details were from my Houseplant book, Andrew.

Azalea satsuki? Variegated leaf ... flowers vary white to dark pink, but same rounded petals.

How do I say thanks?
