I recently bought a Japanese acre for my new garden, was doing really well untill the bad winds and rain a week or so ago, will he ever be back to his beautiful pert self. His little leaves are all battered hes quite droopy and looks really....sad. :0(

Acers don't like windy conditions, they prefer to be in a sheltered spot. The wind can dry their leaves out, and it makes the tree look untidy, but don't despair - he'll come back again.

Hi Don't despair. They do look very sad at first but usually recover once the weather improves. Lets hope for the best.
