I was given a AMARYLA bulb,not sure if this is right spelling, I grew a lovely pink flower and has now dropped.The top half of the flower stem has gone brown and feels sqwidgy. Can I use this bulb another year if I let it die off naturally. Pleasehelp

You probably mean Amaryllis - procedure is to leave the bulb in the pot and let the plant die back naturally, reducing watering. It helps if you feed it while its got green growth with something like Miracle Gro general purpose so the bulb can store it for regrowth later. After its died back, don't water until see growth starting again - usually a tip of green at the top of the bulb.
