Unhappy Yucca

Look at this picture - such a thing of beauty... except the branches don't want to stay put and it hasn't flowered for two consecutive years since this wonderful display. I need advice on how to keep the two remaining stems healthy - and attached. And will it flower again? We used to get one flower a year until it peaked with four in 2006. Many thanks!

Hi Celandine. Yes, must upload pic of current state; will endeavour to do so this weekend. The "heads" get so heavy, and the "stems" so long and slim, that two have actually just broken clean off. We also have a hole in the main trunk, which we have painted with a plant sealant, but could do with actually filling, I think. We just don't what to do to keep the plant healthy - should we feed it and, if so, what with? Not sure if should try to move the new plants growing around the bottom of this large one. Haven't got room to put them anywhere else as a bit limited on (sunny) space!

What do you mean about the branches? Are they flopping down or what? I expect your plant exhausted itself having so many flowers at once. Tell us more - what about a photo as it is now?
