My bottlebrush looks dead what shall I do?

My bottlebrush stayed greenish all winter but then we had snow, Since then it has turned brown. Is it dead or shall I just leave it and see what happens?

Try the scratch test on the stems - scrape a little bit of the bark and look at the colour of the wood underneath - if it's green, the shrub is still alive; if it is brown, I'm afraid that your bottlebrush is another casualty of the cold winter.
