camelias

I have two camelia bushes, one has flowered already and suffering from what I think is wind burn, or sun. The other only has flowers near the root, what is the cause for this and can they be replanted somewhere else

hi Ann, i wonder what makes you think that your camelia has wind or sun burn. are the leaves yellow ? if yes your camelias needs a good feed and don't forget camelias hate lime and need ericacious compost and plenty of water. True, camelias do get wind and morning sun scorching and maybe, this is what happened to the other one which has only flowered from the bottom of the plant, maybe because the base of the plant is more protected or sheltered. In any case, move your camelia to a sheltered position, give it adequate feed and plant it in acidic soil or it won't perform. hope this helps.
