My partner has just cut off all the long green stems of my wallflower clump. It has been flowering non stop (for 10 months) up to the beginning of Dec. The little flower buds are on the large heap of trimmings, so would it be possible to take cuttings from this waste? This plant belonged to my Mum who died 3 years ago and has been flowering almost continually for about 15years.

Oh Karren what a shame. I hope you have success with
cuttings. He/she would now be my Ex Partner!

You could try, but do it quickly before the material dries out.
