Do I need to add any mulit compost

Just taken first bucket of own comost out of compost bin still beasties busy working away.
Can I now add this as it is to my veggie bed or mix it with bought compost .

Maybe could use in some of my containers but not yet in any hanging baskets or what do you think.
Do you think should leave incompost bin to break down more ?
I think I did wrong with to much shredded paper and some twigs.
But its really nice compost and free:)

what sort of beasties are still in it? there should be worms and probably the odd centipede but not many more. if there are I'd leave it a little longer. mid mix has alsorts including some fantastic 1-2mm false scorpions. have a rummage later in the year. if you have kids get them having a look too.
paper and small twigs are good for the overall texture so you did not do wrong. does it small just like woodland soil? if yes it is ready.

Still a bi thard does not sift through your fingers.
The bucket full could not see worms was like no young kids here adults.
But still well pleased with it.

Looks good and healthy to me... I certainly would not add bought in compost. At least putting it on a veggie bed if there are still live seeds in it you will be able to weed them out easily.
