How do you plant "in the green" snowdrops ?

Dig a hole where you want them to be. The hole should be a little deeper than the part of the stems of the bulbs which show white. The 'bleached' part of the stems is the bit which was underground at the Nursery. Galanthus nivalis likes a moist soil in a shady position.

Thank you for the helpful replies. Most websites talk about transplanting straight from pots, but my 200 were all "loose". Anyway, they are all in now and my back only hurts a little.
Thanks again for the help !

The minute you get them planting them at the depth they were before being lifted and leaving the leaves on.
