Tacca chantrieri how to care for ( bat plant)

hi new to this site and to keeping plants. i brought this plant while on holiay in holland. saw it and loved it. i am keeping it in doors in the UK. can anybody tell me how to look after it to get its full potential. thanks for any help

Hi, this is a great plant, I don't have one but have seen it sold on crocus.co.uk, they give some advice (which can be found at http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/bulbs/tacca-chantrieri-/classid.2000010495/ or just search for plant by name from home page) about growing conditions etc, also this a quote from Thomson & Morgan website:
" During the growing season (late spring to late summer) the plants will need to be watered very regularly and the compost must be well drained. Give very little water through the winter and provide a temperature of 15-18C (60-65F) through the winter and 25-29C (75-85F) through the summer. Re-pot in February/March, shade from strong sun and give the occasional mist spray through the summer."
