Aliums wilting leaves SOS

Hi everyone. I have a large pot with about 6 Aliums in. Lat year....all was good. This year.....they are about 12" tall BUT the nice big fat leaves are pretty droopy & wilitng.....Anyone else suffering from the same problem?

My Allium cristophii has done the same thing, however,it did this last year and the flower still came up lovely - I just use other plants in front to hide the leaves.

It is the norm for Allium to droop their leaves, but dosen't usually affect the flowers.

Allium leaves are well known for not being the best part of the plant. They will droop and hit ground level before the flower spikes come up. It has been quite dry so give them a little water as well.
