I have a palm type plant in my garden, planted about three years ago, now about 5ft tall. It is in the wrong place aesthetically, will it survive being moved and if so when would be a good time to move it?

Thank you for your help

If its a Cordyline, how well it survives being moved depends on how well you manage to extract it with roots intact - or not. Now is the time to try. Another option, though, if it really is a Cordyline, is to cut it down to the ground - this will force new, bushy growth from the base.
