when do I start feeding my newly emerged seedlings and which is the best sort of feed? Some perennials (echinops, achillea and perennial sweet peas) some annuals (petunias, lobelia, cosmos). Started in John Innes seed compost.

I feed bulb seedlings for a few years in the original compost. All other seedling get potted on as soon as possible into a stronger compost. No feeding.
