Could anyone tell me if it is okay to use my ericaceous compost for general use on the garden? I bought it for a camelia but it died and dont have any other acid loving plants.

Just a guess, but roses might appreciate it round their roots as don't they like a slightly acidic soil?

Spreading it over the borders or beds won't cause a problem.
