Difficult one - as you have a dog, and particularly a bitch, it's an easy get out for the company to say its the dog. Most likely it is, bitch urine particularly is bad for grass. Other explanations for yellow patches at this time of year are buried debris beneath the lawn, or drought on sandy soil. Even compaction on heavy soil would cause yellowing, though you'd usually see moss as well. The other possibility is Turf Red Thread, but with that you'd see pale red or pale pink thin fungal growths on the grass blades. Turf thatch fungal mycelium is another thing that causes yellow or reddish patches, but I wouldn't expect that to be present on turf laid only last year.

We use "Dog Rocks". You place them in the water bowl and replace every three months. Our lawn has inproved since using these, however we did need to patch in new turf. But no new patches since using Dog rocks.

the only real way is to build a seperate dog run .dogs are just as bad in pots or up some plants you just dont tend to notice so much .

You may think I'm joking about this, but it is perfectly true, and it took a good while before we discovered why we were getting perfectly round patches of yellow/dying grass in our lawn (many, many years ago now). In a flash of genius, I realised that the gardeners of the family were putting their hot mugs of tea down where they were working, and killing the grass beneath. I'm sure you aren't that daft, though!
IF, however, it could be your dog, as SeaburnGirl says, copious amounts of water on the spot each time it pees is about the only answer I can offer.
