How do you recommend I plant my GIANT TUMBO Grenadilla Vine PASSION FRUIT Passiflora Quadrangularis. I am wondering do I plant it where it can climb something or can I plant it in the open. Can it be planted in a container outside? Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

Where in the States are you?
What are your winter lows.
P.quadrangularis will require a minimum temperature of 10°c, high humidity and plenty of bright light too (especially if you want the fruits to mature). If you cannot provide the first two it will have to be grown under glass (heated if necessary). Very little that you can do about the third.
Growing under glass will bring extra challenges. Passiflora require insect pollinators for the fruits to form, but that will increase the risk of pests being introduced. As long as you are keeping the humidity high they should not be a huge problem, but you'll need to keep an eye out.
Hopefully Tugbrethil will see this and be of more help.
