As we are in a drought period can I water plants with dishwash water? Will soap damage them?

Answers

If you mean hand washing up water rather than from a dishwasher, then switch to an eco brand of washing up liquid - this will cause less trouble if used often, particularly in pots. Also best if you strain it to get out food lumps which may be in there - or make sure your washing up has been scraped well clean before washing. If you rinse your washing up, use the rinse water too.

and if you mean the dishwasher then the salt and rinse aid will kill your plants.
