Hello Gary25 ... yes you can; it's all about preparation and speed. Water shrub thoroughly the day before moving. Cut down all straggly branches to new growth. Prepare large hole and water-in the hole. A handful of bonemeal in the base will be a bonus. Dig out shrub with as much root as possible, using fork rather than spade which will cut roots off. Transfer to your prepared hole ... you may need to dig out a bit more, if your root ball is larger than expected. Back-fill with soil, firm in and water well for next few weeks.
