Of every variety of spring onions ive grown the last 2 years the tops all fell over although the bulbs were ok.as i can remember all tops used to be straight and eatable not so mine the last two years.just set nimrod and white lisbon fingers crossed.are there any varieties out there that the tops stays straight upright and eatable.

White Lisbon is a tried and tested variety and onions are deep rooted so I would say that lack of water over the last two years could be the problem.
