Sure that I have read that you can use dried grass cuttings to mulch? Any idea, I was thinking of putting around my rasps but if ok I would use more widely. I have lots of cuttings and have run out of homemade compost and composted leaves. Thanks

If the grass is dry shouldn't be a huge problem with slugs etc. Bulba has used on the veggie beds over winter before digging in.

it would be ok untill it rains or snows and or starts rotting . id still be more inclined to compost it and use a more permanent mulch .

Thanks for that. Think I will do a little trial with dried grass cuttings.

your leaving some lovley places for slugs and snails to get about under the grass cuttings is the only thing .
