I have an Acer (vine mapple) which is well established. I noticed this morning that lots of black fly has appeared on the leaves.
How should I treat this problem?

I had black fly on mine last year and the only way I could get rid of it was (reluctantly) with a fly spray. It killed most of the leaves off though!! They've regrown OK this year now.
