Mountain Ash...? Please help!

Having recently moved into a home with an established garden, and being 45 years old and never growing anything. I now find myself growing herbs, tomatoes and various border plants, as well as my various chilli plants, I appear to have "caught the bug". Please help with the identity of this tree! Is it mountain ash, white beam?? - Thank you for the replies so far. Please find a close up of the leaf.

Thanks.... Ian

I think it is a Sorbus, but a close up in a few days would be better,

Thanks for the close up - definitely not a Mountain Ash (Rowan) I'd agree it's a White beam.
