I planted a flowering cherry some 5/6 years ago but does not seem to flourish with very little growth or blossom.

it just mite not be old enough . my copper colour cherry hasnt flowerd yet after about 6 years but it will like the otheres i have . if its healthy looking then it is probably healthy .

Where are you in the UK, where is the tree positioned and did you keep it well watered for the first year or so?
