Mildew. Is there any point in spraying with the milk/water remedy, I've seen on this site, before the mildew becomes evident? My honeysuckle develops it every year and so does some phlox. I was going to bin the phlox but will think again if I can prevent the problem. I don't use chemicals and don't want to start doing so.

Make sure your plants don't go dry at the root as this will cause mildew

Doesn't work as a preventative, only as a treatment on mildew. Inspect regularly and spray at the first sign.
