Will a honeysuckle be OK to put in quite a large pot

Answers

Depends what you mean by 'quite a large pot' - 2 feet deep x 12 inches wide? Will do reasonably in a pot that size, but never attain its full growth potential.

bigger the better most things can grow in a pot but generaly its not very natural for any plant to grow in a pot . some plants take to it far better than others . you can grow giant redwood in pots after all but giant they are not lol .

Now you've told me the pot is 3 feet deep by 2 feet wide, yes is the answer - but choose the honeysuckle variety carefully, don't choose a monster large one.

This maybe too late ,as you may have already transplanted your honeysuckle. But i agree with Bamboo, they can grow very succesfully in a LARGE pot, but, keep an eye on it as it will need a tad more water than the usual and also, if its growing well the roots can creep out of the bottom of the pot and go straight down into the earth!!![ unless its standing on hardcore]As mine did!
