Fruit Trees

In November I planted 16 fruit trees -3 year old Apples, Pears, Cherries and Plums. Should I remove the fruit this first year and if so, how big should the fruit be before I pick it off? They have all come into blossom - the pears have small fruits already

I read somewhere, yes, you are supposed to, as this encourages the roots to establish themselves. Pull the blossoms off as soon as they start to appear. But this was for apple trees, I don't know about the other fruits. The principle is probably the same. Carol Klein has a new book out which gives advice on growing fruit. I saw it in my lgc for £10 instead of the retail price of £17. But I do use Amazon for my books. Hope someone else can give more advice for you.
