i think if a plant/shrub or tree has any flex in it you can train it . weather it will be good for getting fruit training it is another thing thow . ive trained a cherry tree round an old swing to make a frame round a 5 foot head sculpture i made . you can see it on one of my blogs or look up nosey potter on utube . i dont get fruit thow as i have to keep trimming it .
