Nasturtiums.

Hi, I am going to try growing some nasturtiums this year for a change. Am I better starting them off inside or planting them directly where they are to flower.
Thank you
Sue

Soak the seeds overnight to help germination and then plant them straight into the garden where you want them to grow. Normally an easy and successful plant.

As above, but watch out for blackfly, they love nasturtiums, derek.

Water them yes but don't feed them or fertilise them once they are established otherwise you get lots of leaves and no flowers. They prefer poor conditions.

Thanks everyone, look forward to trying them in salads (blackfly permitting).

How do I say thanks?
