my peach tree is shedding what appears to beshedding oil

my 2 year old peach tree is full of fruit which i have recently thinned but at the base of the tree there appears to be oil spreading out in about a 2ft circle around the base which is enticing a lot of wasps/flys is this normal or should i be doing something about it, i should say that i'm in spain.thankingyou in anticipation graham.

Are there aphids underneath the leaves? They drop a sugary liquid that attracts wasps and moulds. If so, spray with an insecticide and hose off the 'oil'.
