does nobody know how to get rid of wireworms ,i am drowing them @the moment

The recommended method is to destroy any that you see, along with any badly affected plants, and cultivate the ground regularly,together with good garden hygiene.

the ground is dug over every yr and depending what i plant i put manure/garden lime in but they r there every yr

There is no effective chemical treatment for wireworm in soil - methods of control include digging over at least 3 times a year to uncover them, encouraging and increasing the number of birds which visit your garden which are insectivores, and you could try a nematode solution, available from The Green Gardener online - cannot be used before May, will need to be used over 2 to 3 years, since the lifecycle of wireworm is protracted.
